Due to its structural configuration, the oblique roller leveler is mainly used for the section steel leveler with a small number of rolls and a large roll distance, and the leveler with the upper row of work rolls adjusted in parallel, usually at the entrance and exit. The two upper work rolls are made to be individually adjustable to facilitate the introduction of the rolling stock and improve the straightening quality.

The oblique roll leveler is widely used for straightening medium and heavy plates over 4-12mm. The upper row of work rolls in the equipment can be tilted to adjust the leveler in a row. This adjustment method will gradually reduce the bending deformation of the rolled piece. When used, it needs to meet the requirements of rolling stock straightening, and such equipment is widely used for straightening thin plates below 4mm.

The upper row of work rolls of the oblique roll leveler can be adjusted locally. This adjustment method can directly increase the number of large deformation and bending of the rolling piece to straighten the sheet. The work roll of the leveler has its own characteristics. Similar to the hyperbolic space curve shape, the axes of the two rows of work rolls cross each other, and the pipe rotates and advances during straightening, so as to obtain a symmetrical shape to the axis.

The inclined roller straightening machine is light in weight and easy to adjust and repair. It is mainly used for straightening pipes and bars, and the effect is good. When using it, the locking device is required to be composed of an oil cylinder, a piston and a brake head. In the hydraulic mechanism, there are two sets of locking devices and are respectively arranged on both sides of the roller seat. The oil cylinders in the two sets of locking devices are not on the same axis but are parallel to each other and are arranged symmetrically to the center line of the roller seat.
