Straightening machine manufacturers provide different straightening solutions for the operation of the straightening machine to meet different working conditions. One is the small deformation adjustment scheme. The basic principle of the straightening machine using this adjustment scheme is that the original curvature of the steel plate entering the roll should be completely removed after reverse bending and rebounding.

The other is a smaller energy adjustment scheme. The starting point of this scheme is that the flat part of the steel plate does not produce plastic deformation, so there is no residual stress in the flat part of the steel plate. With this adjustment scheme, the reverse curvature under each roll is equal.

Straightening machine manufacturers have also introduced large deformation adjustment schemes, because the greater the relative total bending curvature, the greater the difference in relative spring-complex curvature. The large deformation adjustment scheme is adjusted according to this feature. It adopts a large relative reverse curvature on the second and third rolls, so that the relative bending curvature of each part of the steel plate reaches a large value.

In this case, the relative elastic curvature can be used close to a certain value in the same direction, which can quickly reduce the relative residual curvature and make the entire length of the steel plate a single-valued curvature; after the fourth or fifth roll , the relative inverse curvature of the steel plate gradually decreases, and gradually tends to be straight.

The overall tilt adjustment scheme is also a straightening scheme proposed by the straightening machine manufacturer. The relative inverse curvature of Cρ(n-1)=1. When the reverse curvature of the second roll and the penultimate roll (n-1) is known, the reverse curvature of other rolls can be known according to the linear law. This solution is economical and fast to manufacture, and is suitable for most occasions, but for the case of high steel plate straightening, the above three solutions should be considered.
